The memory is 8 GB in my old mac I had 16 GB and it was slow like nowbody's buisiness. So i think the mbp it's self or the hard disc can't be the problem. ) with high sierra on it but the extreamely slow startup and slow app launch also migrated !?
I migrated my already slow old system on a "new" 2012 mbp machine ( my mbp 2011 had the motherbord isue for the seccond time.
A lot of bouncing time for the apps in the doc. Hi my mbp is really slow at startup ( 2 minutes) And it takes about 45 secconds to launch an app like chrome for the first time after that first time it launches oke.
